BD Nexiva™ Closed I.V. Catheter System with Single or Dual Ports. Designed to last throughout the treatment process with features that enable longer dwell times, supporting the Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice for clinically indicated site rotation. Built-in stabilization platform reduces dislodgement by 84%. Thereby minimizes movement that can lead to catheter complications (phlebitis and infiltration), restarts and associated costs. Meets the CDC Guidelines and Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice for catheter stabilization. Integrated system minimizes the number of manipulations which may lead to touch contamination and accidental disconnection. Single and dual ports are compatible in CT, minimizing the need to exchange the catheter or tubing.
